Strawberry Freezing Line Process: Washing, Preparation and IQF Freezing

Key process stages for a strawberry line using gentle handling, cooling, dewatering and fluidized bed IQF freezing.

Strawberry Freezing Line Process: Washing, Preparation and IQF Freezing

Protect the fruit before freezing

Strawberries are sensitive to impact, surface water and uneven feeding. The preparation section should provide controlled washing, inspection and transfer before the fruit enters the freezing stage.

Why dewatering matters

Excess surface water changes the freezing load and can increase sticking or ice formation. Vibration dewatering and air-assisted transfer help create a more stable product condition before IQF freezing.

Configure the line around the target product

Whole strawberries, halves and diced fruit may need different handling and freezing conditions. Capacity, product temperature and the final package format should be confirmed before the line is finalized.
